Tilly

Tilly is a 14.2 hand grade mare, vet aged 19–20 years old, looking for her next young riding partner.

She has been a very dependable horse for us, we’ve used her lightly in our small lesson program, she’s been regularly ridden by our own kids, and has been shown in a few local open horse shows. She has handled each of these experiences effortlessly. Not an ounce of funny business.

Tilly is forgiving, willing, and takes new riders and new experiences in stride. She is the type of horse that allows a young rider to focus on learning, building confidence, and simply enjoying their time in the saddle, without worry. A straightforward ride, she hauls and handles easily, comfortable around cattle and lives in a mixed herd (she is lead mare here).

No maintenance, does wear shoes due to our ground conditions.

For a kid who wants to ride, learn, and have fun, a good broke horse is worth its weight in gold. Tilly has been that horse for us, and we would love to see her be that horse for another family with young kids.
